If you are like me you are a pretty shy person and keep yourself to yourself. When you go to a party you make the effort to talk to people, you look for common interests and then strangely, within a few minutes, the name Dave Carter pops up in the conversation.

Just stop and think, it happens all the time, at meetings you may go to, in supermarket queues, sitting in the doctor’s waiting room, sweating it out in a sauna on the outskirts of Helsinki…………

In July/August 2011, 10 children, aged 11 – 15, and two adults, who live in refugee camps in the Sahara Desert will be welcomed to Manchester for six weeks, hosted by Levenshulme, Parrswood and Chorlton Woodcraft Folk groups. They will stay with host families, enjoying a wide range of activities and life in Manchester.
